A little biography – FOR ALL MY FRIENDS

WHO I am and …. WHY I am making bears: Hi, My name is Beate Rusch-Nann, I am a German teddybear
artist and I live with my family in
the south-west of Besides my greatest hobby – bear making of course! – I love Italian cooking, gardening, decorating, collecting cactus – and – very,very important: TRAVELLING! Inspired by American, English, Australian and German teddybear magazines I decided one day to create a teddybear on my own. But mainly it`s because of “Fips”, the bear of my childhood. He accompanied me since I was seven years old. During all these years he lived in our house and of course he will always do. So one day I decided “that he surely loves to have some friends” – and I began to work.
This was in 1997. Meanwhile you can find my
bears all over the world and my bear “Hannes”, who was nominated for the
Golden Teddy Award 2001 in Whenever you have a chance to see him, please
bring him my best wishes…..Will you? Thank you for your interest in my work - it`s time to have a look at my beary
